Catching a cold is no fun at all…… i’ve been clear from this for quite some time now, however, it’s here. Feeling fuzzy in the head, cold, hot, moody every now and then. All mussles do hurt real bad! Time for extra vitamines, fresh orange juice coming to you from the kitchen. Time for a couple of LOST episodes on the couch…..no more other things today.
Blubrry has left the WordPress setup; this morning we went back to Podpress cause it just works better! Not only the options for setting it up. Also iTunes recognizes the feed better and does show the complete podcast description now. So in short: it all works fine from our view. If not then please drop us a line via the comments or e-mail. Have a very nice Sunday everybody. More shows soon when the voice gets back.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly. Please get better. Sorry also to report that I’m finding the iTunes feed is failing to load. In looking at settings, I see a double http prefix. That’s the issue?

Yes … the “addtoany” button on the website affixes an extra HTTP, which boluxes the download.
I’m looking forward to Season 4, and reports of your improved health.

Hey Michael, sorry to hear that your download is not functioning well; from our side we can see that the ‘Add to Any’ button redirects perfectly well to the Spacemusic feed being http://spacemusic.nl/feed
Can you make a screen shot of where it goes wrong with your download?
What happens if you try and copy/paste the RSS feed into your iTunes? Please drop us a line cause it might be something else there….
Thanks for your comment and welcome aboard!

Yeah I didn’t use the “Add to Any” plugin. I just typed in: ITPC://spacemusic.nl/feed/
Lovely music at the end of this episode! I’ve been listening since episode 10 or so, and you continually remind me why I tune in again, just beautiful music.
Stay strong and rest up, TC. We need you back at 100% operational efficiency.

Ok, go to:
http://spacemusic.nl/feed
Manually load up ITunes – Podcasts screen
Drag the URL from your browser to your ITunes Podcasts screen
That worked for me. I’ve subscribed to the new feed.
Thanks TC, and get well soon

Wow! TC, what a lot of work for such a sick sounding guy! I love the look of the new website and am eager for the new podcasts to start filling into my aggregator. I just have to figure our how to move podcasts from my podcast library to my music library and I’m set (I wouldn’t want to loose all those lovely classic Spacemusic episodes).
Get better soon!

Hi TC, hope you feel well soon.
I have been an avid listener since the end of season 1, and allways look forward to Spacemusic and Fresh Air! Lounge Series episodes popping up in iTunes.
I am still getting the same problem as Michael Huber with the iTunes link, I have looked but I cannot find any place in the iTunes (UK) where I can remove that extra http prefix. I also cannot find how to copy/paste the rss feed into iTunes here in UK, are there any differences between the UK & NL sites that may be causing these problems?

We’ve seen the posts about the ‘double’ http. From our side it is running smooth…then again, we’d hate to see parts of the world where it goes wrong…. or systems that mess things up. So what we’ve done now is we’ve integrated a workaround for the AddToAny script. So if you please go to the Subscribe button again and try again? All should be ok.
Otherwise the good old-fashioned way of subscribing to a podcast is the copy/paste way of the RSS feed into iTunes. Within iTunes go to the ADVANCED menu and click ‘Subscribe to podcast…’ and fill in the spacemusic RSS that is http://spacemusic.nl/feed

Blubrry VS Podpress: We’ve de-activated the Blubrry plugin; if you want to know more about it please visit our blog…….http://spacemusic.nl/blog/2008/11/17/podpress/

ADMIN reply: O23 thank you; now that you’re bringing this up again, we’ve been counting back and forth for a few times now, we started in feb 2005 and now it’s november 2008. Hmm, exactly how many Seasons did we do? We’re lost we think…. somewhere in between Seasons….. Anyway, S4 is a GO now and we’re looking forward doing the new shows!

Thanks TC, the “add to any” button now works perfectly in iTunes, and I have got my link to spacemusic back. I can now relax knowing that all is now right in my world and I look forward to more of the excellent shows you produce.

ADMIN reply: Hi Robert, good to know. The AddToAny button seems to work one hundred percent indeed! Have a great time relaxing now, you’re tuned in, nothing to worry about is our motto;-)
