31 May 09 Senseo® Sundays ::: Planet Boelex + Lisa’s antenna :::
Excuse me…. it’s May31st and sometimes we simply malfunction on what day it is…. Let’s have a cup now: Remastered edition of the Planet Boelex album “Little World” is available! We got the message some time ago and just had to put on a show featuring this fantaaastic re-release. The difference between this one and the older version? One could say it’s a difference between day and night but let us put it into the right perspective here: The vocals by Lisa’s Antenna are sounding much warmer and more subtle than before. The overall mix is a much better balance between high and low frequencies, the compression from before especially in the high range has gone… “Are You There” is now like she’s sitting next to you, “Fall” has turned into a warm blanket. Once you start playing the tracks you only want to pump up the volume and really dive into this Little World and stay. Mastering act by Christopher Leary. Spacemusic gives him best compliments!

I’ve been enjoying this re-release. I echo your comments on it. Changes might seem subtle to the average listener but to those of us who really LISTEN to their music the difference is very noticible and much appriciated. I still can’t believe PB gives his music away for free. Quality tunes for sure.

Hi there TC!
At the beginning of this podcast, there is some very light background music. I know it’s from a movie… please confirm which one it’s from.
Kindest regards,
Denny
PS. I absolutely LOVE your Spacemusic podcasts!!

Admin reply: Denny Hi! Thanks you for your kinds words. That music you’re referring to is from this movie called “K-Pax” and is performed by Edward Shearmur - one of the best soundtracks we’ve ever heard! Keep listening!

Strangely, I just noticed this podcast. Not sure why I missed it originally in May.
What a treasure!
Absolutely awesome! I love these tracks.
