(618MB VIDEO) HD 720p edition. Stunning visuals and beautiful music on this new Spacemusic HD video podcast! The Solo album by Jon Jenkins called ‘Beyond City Light’ goes very well with the underwater life of Micronesia…. swimming with the Mantas is an Earth-Touch.com production. A call by LandscapeHD has resulted in a serious adventure: the music clip ‘Treasure’ by Jon Jenkins and David Helpling in HD hi-end quality. A collaboration between Spacemusic HD and Landscape HD. Looking for more HD? Coming soon.

Passion for the HD for sure! The only thing we need to monitor is: TIME. The big files take many hours to process. The recording, the editing, the compressing, the uploading, the re-compressing for web based Flash, the RSS update procedures, updating the blogs and the tweets… Round and about 17 hours it took us this time. Hahaha! So we’d love to get your feedback on this one again…Drop us a line, record us an audio comment, donations are certainly more than welcome as we’ve decided to update our Blip account to a PRO account; this should prevent us from Flash transcoding errors and should safe us some more time.
Big Thanks to:
Earth-Touch.com for stunning visuals of the underwater life in Micronesia and South Africa.
Landscape HD for the HD version of ‘Treasure’ by Jon Jenkins and David Helpling.
Spacemusic.blip.tv for web based streaming video content

TC-
As always, great work. I look forward to every Sunday, though truth be told I wait until Monday morning to enjoy the Senseo podcasts most weeks. This week’s is fantastic, and the video component is a pleasure. The images and the music, running full screen on my MacBook Pro while I settle in to the office and check my email on a Monday morning is a great way to ease into the week.
Cheers!

TC, any chance of an audio-only feed? I feel it’s a waste of bandwidth to download 600+ MB HD video episodes of a music podcast.
===
Admin reply: The spacemusic feed has been audio only for years with tiny little exceptions of video on it; now that we introduce our listeners to our HD shows we thought it would be great to offer everyone the HD episodes so we posted not only via the dedicated HD feed (which most people can’t find yet cause it fresh and new…) but via the main Spacemusic podcast feed as well. Waste of bandwidth? Not really but when we try hard, we understand you a bit. 600+MB files do not belong on the average 25MB show feed. Yep. But hey, don’t feel sorry now to download the megabytes Jan, enjoy the HD, it’s the introduction phase we’re dealing with here. Thanks!

TC,
I really enjoyed this mix a lot. I also love the visuals, I have watched it about 10+ times on my 52″ HD TV and it looks and sounds amazing.
Keep up the great work.
I have been a listener since season one and I always look forward to hearing your show. You have introduced me into so much music I would have never been able to enjoy!

TC, it happened again this week: A 500MB video file in the supposedly audio-only feed.
===
TC reply: yes it happened. And the reason it happened has been explained on the website and via Twitter. Now the file is not on the feed anymore. It’s all solved, you’re safe now, you can smile again and enjoy life!
