When one thinks about it: 65 years of freedom in this country … on May 4th we remember all civilians and members of the armed forces of the Kindom of The Netherlands who have died in wars or peacekeeping missions since the outbreak of World War II. May 5th is Liberation day in Holland, celebrating the ending of the German occupation. Spacemusic.nl offers you this personal mix, compiled and mixed by *TC*, a blend of excellent ambient/soundtrack music that triggers you to remember and feel connected with all people who do. TC,
Thanks for the music and history. I took my youngest son to Switz., Austria and Germany this past Easter and we rode the bikes around the Bodensee. This was my first time to central Europe, having previously traveled in Eastern Europe. I deeply feel the tradegy of the WW’s and think always of the hardships of the people. I teach my sons.
My heart goes out to all who sacrificed and suffered.
Great show and thanks for keeping the history alive.

TC? What is the music you’re playing in the background on Coffee Break around 2:30 on the track. It’s soooooo soothing and relaxing, I found myself listening to that spot of the podcast and drifting off into la-la land. Can you tell me the track because it’s not listed in your show notes, unless it’s something you created. Also, would it be possible to put together a show with tracks of that same style: soothing, soft, VERY subtle, and relaxing? Yes, Yes! I know, most of your shows are this, but that music at 2:30 was spectacular.

TC reply;… that’s a piece of music by our good friend Eleon This track is part of his amazing 100 track project available via spacemusic.nl. Just click the Centuria album and get your copy. We could play more of his music on a show, then again, that goes for all the music we play…. cheers! ~TC

Hi TC,
just picked up the latetst release of your coffee break and - again - amazed by the tunes and your show.
One question: When starting this podcast, some seconds after start (0:28 - 0:54), there is a short sequence of chilling ambient music. Can you please tell me whom this sequence is from and - if it’s not just a jingle - what’s its title?
Thanks and kind regards,
Michael

Admin reply: …. it’ kinda funny: lots of feedback is often about tracks we’ve not mentioned on the show. It is a cool thing, it shows us we’re not only playing great tracks on the show and put them in the shownotes, it seems there’s also this urgent background stuff we get so many requests for. But, on the other hand… that’s the secret of this podcast. For a change Michael, we have no idea what that music was, so sorry!

TC…
Long time listener, first time “commenter.” Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your podcasts. I write for a living. Unfortunately, my work takes place in a noisy office. When I need to tune out, I pop in my earbuds, click on your space music podcast, and happily type away.
You’ve got a great sensibility for selecting tracks. And a great DJ voice as well! Especially for this kind of show. Your love for this music is clear and comes through in your podcasts. I also listen at home. Your podcast has gotten me through writing assignments, paying bills, and studying for the GRE. In essence, anything that causes my stress level to rise!
Thanks again. Please keep it up. I hope you continue podcasting for years to come.
Thanks,
Travis
