This morning the alarm clock woke me with some peaceful ambient tunes, the  iHome machine is doing a great thing each day. Today is a day I have to rise and shine real early and it became clear to me: it is still dark @ 7.30am making it difficult for me getting started. The wintery feelings take over, the warmth of the bed tries to keep me from getting out and make breakfast. Come on…. go! Finally, cup of tea and toast did it. Reading some e-mails and posting this blog. We’ve begun. By the way, what would I do without my toaster in the first place? i love this machine! I love the taste of fresh made toast with cheese and ‘theeworst’. Tea and honey, fresh orange juice afterwards and yesss… On my mind keeps spinning that same song over and over again… ‘I Dive’ , yesterdays Jukebox track. It’s good isn’t it? Download and enjoy. And friday’s track is also a beauty, a unique Lukas Termena remix will be featured. So in short: good atmospheres, the right food, communications with the outside world and great music certainly saves me from anything, I can just easily fight these ‘darker days’! How bout you? ~TC

….a New Season got started a week ago, the night is still young…. and obviously most of our listeners are still kind of sniffing around. And that’s ok. Really. That’s at least what we think. Since we started the new Jukebox series here in Season 5, the amount of downloads is growing and growing…. couple of thousands and getting more. Then again, not that many opinions or voices on the line! Hello?…. Are we dealing with happy listeners? We simply can’t tell. Besides from two maybe three comments that were posted at spacemusic.nl  - Hmmm. Well, let’s give it some time shall we? This show has only just begun Let’s do not rush things. No  Way. Podcasts aren’t like any other form of media and machines, podcasts are unique and getting even better during time …. Silence is Golden, We Think.

Hi all, Spacemusic Jukebox series has been launched; Season 5 will bring you a fine collection of tracks very much worth listening to. From pure electronica to ambient to downtempo to trance to deep house…. Anything basically! Our Jukebox plays anything as long as it’s good. Of course you can send in your suggestions whenever you feel like it. No real commercial music as we simply hate to interfere with commercial record labels; creative commons l’ed music or music published via artists themselves, the  modern way sort of speak. And believe us when we say, sooner or later everyone will become ‘modern’ and will start distributing music just like that……Take Jean-Michel Jarre for example; right now as we speak you can download a free mp3 via his official website of the track “Oxygene 5″. Where? HERE! So how long till we can podcast most of his music releases???…. Jean-Michel…? Are you with us…?

If you have visited the Spacemusic site, you must have noticed the updates. The main page now shows you the number -5- Oh yes! We have entered the new Season and we started today with two new podcasts: tracks from the Spacemusic Jukebox.

Content wise: headers of pages have been updated. Season 1 still has it’s own page, seems like this one will always be treated special. Season 2-3-4 are on another page showing all podcasts from head to toe. No, you can’t click the titles, we do have a daily job and weekends in between you know….

STEP 5 - 2009/10/05: Checking HD subdomain=ok. Checking the sponsors=not ok. After 10 months of starting up this project and posting three serious 720p HD shows it didn’t bring us the extra support we were looking for. Unbelievable! Thousands of downloads and we can’t even afford a spare battery for the camera…

STEP 6 - 2009/10/05: Time to end our pro subscription with Blip.TV So that’s the end of offering the dedicated Pro HD channel as this is way over budget acting.

STEP 7 - 2009/10/05: Seriously… we are spacemusic.nl with over 1.5 Million downloads, already 5 years of podcasting. No succesful sponsorship ?!…Hmm.
