Jukebox first Longgg Songgg
by TC on Mar.03, 2010, under general
So this week on monday there has been the first Long-Song edition of the Jukebox series: there’s a lot of electronic music and ambient music out there exceeding the 10 minute mark and we have to say… we like such tracks! So we’ve decided to play such songs once a month. We got earlier requests by a couple of listeners about the need for the long ones….There you are. The side effect is that a long song will eat storage of course so during that specific week of the post there will be only one Jukebox track on the Spacemusic feed.
Now that we’re talking about this first edition, Jukebox #43 featuring Higher Intelligence Agency + Biosphere…. we only noticed some re-tweets but no comment on our site. Is this bad? Not sure. Is this doubtful? Yes it is. Is this important to mention? We think so. Last 7 Jukebox episodes count exactly 1 comment. Hello? Short and longer tracks, uptempo and downtempo songs, some beats and beatless…. No response. Someone listening and enjoying? Can’t find your way to our site? Tell us please.
Is the Spacemusic audience blown away…. or bored? That’s the question. Important information for us. Important information for the artists we promote. They often depend on our airplay and feedback by our listeners for further success and extra airplay and generating sales of their albums. When we play such a huge and almost legendary track by Higher Intelligence Agency+Biosphere it’s tough to get ‘zero’ response. Especially when the show has been downloaded over a thousand times. It kinda feels like having a fight with the one you love. We certainly hope this is not getting a serious tendency for the podcast. Oh no… don’t let us down please.
Life goes on… Spacemusic awaits your call. Are you there?
