From La Douce France it’s Alexel, the gifted and talented music composer and performer and entertaining DJ. Music for games, for films, check out the ‘No Gravity’ trailer as well! The Jukebox plays ‘Then You Came’ - for us this track is absolutely within the top10 of our favo all-time tracks. It’s available on Vital Suite - Chill & Lounge Vol.3 - a sampler compiled by the one and only Mr. Frank Borell! Thanks Frank for sending us the album and permission for playing the music on the podcast. Peace!
PERU was a Dutch Synthesizer band, started in 1979 with Peter Kommers and Ruud van Es. They used their first names to make the name of the band. Rob Rapen also joined the band and Jos van de Dungen was involved in this project later on. Besides the name PERU they also used the name NOVA for their more commercial work. The single like ‘Aurora’ was in the charts those days! The music by Peru can be described as ‘new age’ or ‘electronic’. File it under ’synthesizer’ if you will. It can be played while sitting on the couch or as the background of a film. Peru has made music you won’t hear that often anymore nowadays which is too bad…. Welcome to Spacemusic! The Jukebox plays ‘Whales’ and it’s from their album called ‘Forlian‘ which is a 1988 release when Jos van de Dungen joined Ruud and Peter. Visit the iTunes Store and get more music by this great band, there’s a fine collection of albums to choose from. Our suggestion: get them all !!!
Hello listeners, so happy to see you are still tuned in. Season 5 is about to get started… Proud to present new series for this new season but first of all We’d like to thank you all for supporting the show by downloading, listening, sending e-mail, posting comments and telling people around you about our podcast. This is very much appreciated! Thank you.
Audio wise the show will go on. Video wise we’re very sorry to tell you that we simply can’t afford the HD project to be on PRO levels at this particular moment in time. During the last 10 months we have not been able to find enough sponsored support so we have to take a few steps back; the 10-15 minutes 720p HD video podcasts will stay online. Continuing the 720p can’t be done without further financial injections. That’s simply the way it works. Or in this case…. how it doesn’t work. If you happen to know someone that should be interested in a spacemusic sponsorship, feel free to tell them! Please let them contact us via our Spacemusic Gmail account: spacemusic dot nl at gmail dot com Who knows we can launch more 720p shows in the near future!
So what’s to be expected during the new season of Spacemusic? a New feature will be the ‘Jukebox” series. Listen to fine ambient /electronica /dance /trance /new age /chill /downtempo tracks. Very interesting artists and styles. When? Weekly! Start? October 2009 so that’s really soon. Information about the artist and track will be posted in the shownotes at spacemusic.nl Remember: our Jukebox can play ANYTHING. It’s a listener/artist supported show. Feel free to donate some coins for us to keep the machine playing.
For Non-Stop®Mix lovers out there… a new series called “Flying Dutchman” is about to be launched as well. Cool music for on the road, on the train, on the plane. New tracks and those we almost forgot to be out there, 30 minutes shows, sometimes even longer when the DJ simply can’t stop playing… ambient, beatless, hypnotising tunes and mixes, moving and static tracks just like that. We just love it! Talking will be rare, it’s basically music only. Track information will be published in the shownotes at spacemusic.nl and within the MP3 file itself. You should like the mixes…. When? Frequently. Start? November 2009. This series will be free of charge as we don’t want to direct our listeners to a ‘membership’ area, cause we don’t like to take care of the registration software implementation! So step on the plane and enjoy some excellent flightpod music and soundscapes…!

After the announcement by Libsyn to update account plans, we’ve had e-mails back and forth. First we’d have to update one account to a 250MB storage a month plan. We were not able to downgrade this one and keep the stats features around us, which was odd to say the least. The result for us would have been two accounts with extra costs around 72 dollars a year and storage we simply wouldn’t use.
Now, we’ve come to an agreement. Libsyn has offered to work with us on, let’s call it the ‘melting’ of two accounts. In simple words: one account will be the final result with all files hosted. Every single spacemusic podcast ever posted during the last 4 years will be part of this account. Costs are very acceptable.
a Big thanks to Phil from Libsyn! We’re still working on the plan as we speak, to upload and manage the publishing of older shows so that files are safely stored on the mothership and our listeners out there won’t notice a thing when downloading the shows…

"I used to listen to your show and somehow through technological failures I lost it... A few nights ago I remembered it and re-subscribed and I'm currently catching up. I love it! If I ever make it out to the Netherlands I want to stop by and photograph you and your studio, and maybe that kitchen your'e always making such tasty meals in! ...with your permission of course. Can't wait to listen to this on my next transcontinental flight!" - Daniel.
"For the last three years I have been switching between 3 european countries. Now I plan a 3 months trip to India. But wherever I've been, Fresh Air! lounge series was most of the time accompanying my impressions, really the best source in the last years, one of the best web projects. So in hope for best weather conditions in Rotterdam and thumbs up" - Michael H.
"Hi TC! Isabel and I we have seen Mylène on the fifth of september in Geneva - I can confirm all that you said - she was just incredible … it was almost a spiritual experience - wow. I have seen many great concerts including Pink Floyd, Jean Michel Jarre, etc. but this was simply out of this world. What a presence on stage - amazing.
Continue your great work, TC - the world needs it more than ever!" - Isabel & Matthias, Switzerland.

" TC, You’re not only a good “musicmaker” and photographer, but a good writer too. I recognize your impression of Brussel quite well, specially about to get money…
For someone who wasn’t at the concert of Mylene -like me - you’ve given a quite “life” impression.
My compliments!"- Grardie, Rotterdam, NL
"What a great Senseo Sunday Mylène Farmer show! I am writing to you because I absolutely have to know who/what is playing at the start where you are talking. It sounds like the song starts at 2:42 right before you begin to talk about the show! Man when the song hits 3:51 I was blown away!!!!!! Just awesome! I need to get that track so I can play it very loud in my car! Thanks for bringing us such amazing music and for keeping spacemusic alive all these years! Always listening, Lokin - REPLY: hi Lokin, thanks for your lovely feedback! Well the track you're talking about is a Mr. Teaser RMX of the original Mylène Farmer track "Fuck Them All". May I suggest to check the original which you should like. Available via iTunes.
" I have to say, with this new HD format that you are starting to use, it is really very exciting. It really brings a whole new level and new dimension to the experience of Spacemusic! Thanks, keep up the great work!"- Joe T., Los Angeles, USA
