Having a nice cup of Choco Cappuccino and speculaas cookies, this is a new Spacemusic podcast just before the beginning of december. Let’s not work too hard the upcoming month ok? Let’s act normal too. Do not let stress get in the way and try not to interrupt eachother all the time. We’ve got plenty of time, that is of course if you happen to see the overal picture…. Already close to Xmas shopping? Please enjoy these times, do something nice with eachother, do something stupid, cook a meal together, tough times are ahead but we’ll get through! Listen to some good music and let us know what you think of today’s show, via e-mail, via photos, via audio recording so we can prepare the end of the year Spacemusic podcast event: Global Feed.

We’d like to ask your attention for the following:
A Few more weeks and then 2008 is to be archived. Time flies huh? What have you been doing lately, was it a good year? How’s your personal schedule? Did you manage to achieve the goals you had in mind for 2008? I’m sure you do have some exciting new purposes for 2009 as well?
We’d like to invite you to tell a bit more about your goals for 2009 and share this with the Spacemusic audience. Who knows this might bring you extra feedback, nice comments, extra stimulating thoughts, perhaps personal advise by other listeners? Sounds interesting?
Ok, here’s what we’ll do: at the end of the year Spacemusic will do a special podcast and everyone’s invited! ” Global Feed ” The show will feature wonderful music, known and unknown tracks by many different artists so many different (electronic music) genres all together in one episode. A Challenge! Also the show will be filled with (hopefully) a great number of greetings by our listeners. Your stories, your results over the past year, your plans for the new year 2009. A very exciting Spacemusic podcast which could last 2 hours or even longer!….
What we’re looking for is your contribution which will help us to produce this show. We hope you can record a small audio file. In this file you may tell your story, the year 2008 and what it meant to you, your plans for the year 2009 and of course… your best wishes to everyone! We didn’t have any marriage proposals on our podcast….yet.
Grab that microphone and push the record button! Make it a 1-3 minutes recording. Then send it to us in the audio MP3 format if you wish. All other formats are ok as well. You can send it to us via our e-mail address > spacemusic.nl@gmail.com or any other way you can think of. We’re waiting for your call.
Let’s do this together! Let’s make this the best show we ever did and let’s end 2008 fully Spacemusic style.
Thanks!
- Spacemusic Team -
There’s a nice reward; all listeners sending their most original/touching/remarkable/wondrous files will get a free Spacemusic vol.1 album as featured on the iTunes Store: the album ‘Atlantic Treasure’ contains 8 timeless ambient/soundtrack pieces which will transport you to another world where everybody’s thought is a true treasure.

Catching a cold is no fun at all…… i’ve been clear from this for quite some time now, however, it’s here. Feeling fuzzy in the head, cold, hot, moody every now and then. All mussles do hurt real bad! Time for extra vitamines, fresh orange juice coming to you from the kitchen. Time for a couple of LOST episodes on the couch…..no more other things today.
Blubrry has left the Wordpress setup; this morning we went back to Podpress cause it just works better! Not only the options for setting it up. Also iTunes recognizes the feed better and does show the complete podcast description now. So in short: it all works fine from our view. If not then please drop us a line via the comments or e-mail. Have a very nice Sunday everybody. More shows soon when the voice gets back.

Based upon podcast 2005-03-22. Now back online after almost 4 years. This post: the instrumental version in HiFi stereo @ higher bitrate 192Kbps. Don’t you just love the sound?
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Some details about this mix (though there’s no actual tracklist available anymore): We can hear Databloem music as well as netlabel releases. Around 26 minutes one of our favorites: PERU from The Netherlands. The album goes back to 1983 if I’m not mistaken - Constellations - wonderful analogue synths and heavy sequencial patterns. “when the bass drops in you can’t stop me anymore, this is way too good” ~TC

Welcome to Spacemusic Season 4
All set? The first podcast via the new Spacemusic feed, welcome! All bits and bytes have been setup the right way we think. Though we’ve done the podcast for 4 years now it’s always a matter of triple checking every link and every line of code and then go for it. That’s called computer stuff right?
So here we are now. The new S p a c e m u s i c website. The new P o d c a s t feed. Wordpress it is! Very easy implementation (when you know how it works) and look @ the nice player that comes with a podcast post so you can click the player and listen right from this page…cool huhm?
Next step: submitting this feed to iTunes as we’re not yet listed there. Also diving into stats and stuff becuase we’d like to know how many listeners are moving with us. Feedburner.com offers great statistics so we’ve heard but yet not transparent and clear to us. Something nice for the upcoming weekend to check out.
Meanwhile, thank you so much for changing/adding the subscription feed to this one; there’s a surprise waiting for you guys and girls: a couple of instrumental versions of earlier old-time Spacemusic podcasts will arrive one after another….they do sound great in HiFi stereo and higher bitrates! Lovely. Feedback is welcome. Pictures are welcome too! The Facebook can store tons of faces from around the globe. Let’s make this a true party ok? Thanks for your support. ~TC

Just uploaded the Wordpress folder to the server, I did not use the auto installer offered by the provider because I like to think of the database name myself and setup the password etc. myself. So after the upload I run the installer and immediately changed the Wordpress theme to the one we’re going to use: the Google Chrome based theme I found one week ago. This theme is very clean, very nice and calm layout so you can find what you’re looking for : shows, content, background info and links. That’s all this site needs to be.
Needless to say but if you’re experiencing problems or have suggestions, feel free to send us e-mail or post a comment.
