Hi there! I’m looking for musicians in the electronic/ambient music genre who are willing to join our HD video project. After the last two Spacemusic HD shows the feedback has been beyond any imagination, that’s super cool! As you might know this is all part of the plan to go to a next level:
a Dedicated HD video podcast channel offering stunning visuals and cool music, a channel people can access for free. The content will be 720P: environment, wildlife, nature, travelling. Content without commentary. Music and visuals with added information about the music, about the video, links to websites etc. a True relaxation and adventure channel. World Wide distribution. Collaboration with high-quality documentary companies.

It’s ‘live’ feel is impressive. The samples and surround recordings really become one with the music. Beautiful music and subtle vocals. One of the best ambient/new age albums avalaible at this moment.

- UtopiaXO “The Light” - ambient music was born -
This album started its life in the late summer of 2007. I was sat in the studio experimenting with a midi guitar. After playing for 20 minutes I noticed a feedback loop had started within the music - it was a beautiful, inspiring sound that meandered along - seemingly in control of itself. An hour later the whole structure for this album was mapped out through utilising this feedback technique. You can hear this original sound throughout the album. In fact, it’s the first sound you’ll hear on ‘The Light’. I then, by chance, met Jacqueline Barr. She explained to me that our home and the studio (in our garden) sat on a sacred and special site. It was thought that the studio may lie right in the path of a powerful earth energy line - sometimes called ‘leylines’. I immediately knew that I had tapped into this energy that summer morning when I had sat down with the guitar. So earth ambient music was born. I very much believe sincere music taps into the life energy force more than any other art form. I hope and believe that this magical place has now found an expression in a small but sincere way through this music. I also hope this magical energy finds its way to you as you experience the energy of nature that will fill your room as you listen to UtopiaXO - Dave Hesketh. May, 2009.

Passion for the HD for sure! The only thing we need to monitor is: TIME. The big files take many hours to process. The recording, the editing, the compressing, the uploading, the re-compressing for web based Flash, the RSS update procedures, updating the blogs and the tweets… Round and about 17 hours it took us this time. Hahaha! So we’d love to get your feedback on this one again…Drop us a line, record us an audio comment, donations are certainly more than welcome as we’ve decided to update our Blip account to a PRO account; this should prevent us from Flash transcoding errors and should safe us some more time.

Fantastic new space music album by Gulan called “Space Projections”. Prepare yourself for a world full of sounds, patterns, atmopherics and meditation. Gulan takes us on a tour we will not put in a box like ‘file it under bla bla bla’. Gulan’s music is unique: he combines many layers and sounds that will start to interfere, there’s a dialogue between sounds, there’s a cosmic process going on and the listener will be in the middle of this awesome experience.
