Where do good tunes come from…? Many ways of searching of course. But lately this cloud based music library really got our full attention: Soundcloud.com Watching it for months and very simple basics: one uploads music, one clicks the PLAY button and listens. It’s that simple. And with the latest Apps coming from the Soundcloud team you can do this from your (Mobile) device anytime, organise tracks and artists, seek contact, visit the cloud itself and so forth. There’s a second iTunes like application running here and it fills up with fantastic tunes coming from all over the world… all based upon the genre/artist we choose to follow and at the same time some really exclusive tracks coming in from the lovely ’private’ sharing features within the Soundcloud world…. It rocks, it really does! Thanks to musicians willing to share their creations, the cloud is certainly one of the biggest musical injections for this station…

Hello and welcome to the year 2 0 1 1 - back online with new shows for you to check out. This is the first one made on Jan 16th. Sitting in the studio, thinking about all those great tracks… first let me tell you some tracks didn’t make it to the 2010 end of year podcast; not because the tracks are not good enough… on the contrary: extremely good songs certainly worth to add to your libraries!
Let’s start with Saycet from Paris, France. Also known as Pierre Lefeuvre. His second LP release after the first one back in 2006. Talking about ‘Through The Window’. a Fantastic album full of magic and haunting melodies, vocals by Phoene Somsavath. Call this experimental pop, call this electro-nu-jazz, call it music that goes with many different moments during the day and night. Play this one loud and enjoy the Saycet universe. 15 Jan 11 So much music folks…
The year 2011 is really on the go… lots of new music is being released, it’s like a storm in music wonderland! The biggest challenge is to remember the best tracks and save them to playlists for the show… many different artists from many different avenues resulting in many different styles and vibes, so not everything would be right to play on one single Spacemusic episode…. or? Hmmm.
The series for Season 6 continues so there will be a 605′er , 606′er for sure. Also it’s time to say hello for the first time in 2011, we totally agree. Could be coffee, could be tea, music as well, watch out for a new episode of the Spacemusic podcast … coming to you LIVE from Rotterdam, NL.

First of all wishing you all the best for the new year 2011… in good health and wellness, don’t worry be happy! Hope you had a great New Year’s Eve. In Rotterdam it was kinda misty but it was ok for the fireworks, went out to shoot some video for you. Enjoy the shots and enjoy the Oliebollenshow in three parts.
