In the middle of London, just before what would be the announcement of the Tube Strike. Arrival London last Sunday June7th late afternoon, walking to the hotel via Kings Cross. Hotel fine but room not ok, enormous continuous loud noise in the pipes of the bathroom made it impossible to get some sleep! Earlier that night kindly for another room, did not get it because the hotel was ‘full’. Later that night changed our tone a bit and insisted on getting another room, and so another room was available all of sudden. Rest of the week, perfectly fine in this bigger and most of all – quiet – room without extra costs. Super!The WiFi sucked but luckily there was BTopenzone.
Up the hill we arrived in Islington. Special place for special people; our meeting with David Leckenby @ the EnlightenNext headquarters. Started off with a 45 minutes meditation session which was very enjoyable and at the same time a rare and remarkable first meeting with someone we’ve only had contact with via e-mail untill that moment in time: David Leckenby. Known for his cinematic musical productions, know for his peaceful ambient style, known for his unique LIVE act called Kosmic Fire to inject the public with mind blowing uptempo electronica. Meet this great ambient/electronic artist on today’s show. Café ‘The Bull’ in Islington: a nice chat + Peroni premium lager beer. For all details and URL services please read through the rest of the shownotes down below. Enjoy!

Spacemusic on drugs this episode: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during the mixing and production to keep the tooth pain a bit light and bearable. The mind will flow from the past to the present and the future, it’s a moving show, it’s a show that makes you think about music in general and the digital era we live in. Artists publishing albums via their websites – making it more easy to keep track of their music – buying digital downloads via iTunes Store or any other store out there. In the year 2005 we had contact with Sonarfreq for instance – space music encounter with a touch of magic as Sonarfreq was a true creative designer both in audio and visual forms. After hardly 4 years we started searching for him again… the original Sonarfreq URL now pops-up a completely different site, no Sonarfreq music anymore, no artwork, all gone. Not a single trace via the iTunes Store. Silence…. Just a second ago we realized that the modern way of publishing music via sites and e-stores makes music more fragile than you’d possibly think… There’s this risk of music being DIGITAL only: no longer it is a physical product and therefore it has become a very vulnerable piece of art. Horrifying process isn’t it?! Seriously, we should look after our artists and music much much more. Time for our next pill….

Spacemusic S4.12 is about the inspiration music and images can bring us – a picture says more than a thousand words – music was my first love and it will be my last – when the body and mind combines these two ingredients, one can imagine anything is possible! The perfect recipe for an escape to explore;
Today’s show offers great music from Germany, Norway, USA and UK. One can hear the variation, the cultures, the different circumstances when the music was arranged and produced. Music is about exploring, music is about changes, changes are good, changes are food for new and exciting times in our lives. Why don’t we leave right now and find out….?
